High above the Chesapeake Bay on the landmark Bay Bridge, workers
from Strum Contracting Co. could be found hard at work for much of this
past year. The pandemic did not slow their roll to replace steel rail posts on the bridge that serve as a guard rail for vehicles traveling the four-mile
stretch. "If there is a pandemic or a zombie apocalypse, somebody has to get over that bridge," said Teaera Strum, COO of the small, family-owned company based in Curtis Bay.
