CAREER
Joyce created her business Boomers’ Social Media Tutor in 2010 when she was working as an enrollment advisor with the College for Financial Planning. Her manager noticed that she excelled at getting the students to engage with the college’s social media. He encouraged her to consider helping my fellow baby boomers to understand social media as well as she did.
After much reflection, she decided to take him up on this idea, as she was very intrigued with the prospect of helping her- age contemporaries to catch on to social media. Having trained to be a teacher back in the 1960s and 70s, she has always enjoyed helping someone to master a new concept.
She provides one-to-one tutoring sessions and group training on LinkedIn and Facebook to a wide range of clients, organizations, and companies throughout the country. In addition, she speaks extensively through the Denver metro area and virtually throughout the country on LinkedIn and Facebook to business, community, and professional organizations.
